Jessica, an award-wining Documentary photographer, is a New York City native. For her work on heroin addicts in the affluent Flatiron district of NY she has won numerous international awards, including the F Award for Concerned Photography, Magnum’s Inge Morath Award, the Juror’s Choice Award from The Santa Fe Center of Photography and The Marty Forscher Fellowship from Photo District News.

In the fall of 2007 Jessica’s first book, The Ninth Floor, was published in Italy and the USA. She has had solo exhibitions at Forma, The International Center of Photography in Milan; Foam, The Photography Museum of Amsterdam; Foley Gallery in New York; and the Locuslux Gallery in Belgium. Her work has also been featured in numerous group shows including an exhibit at The Aperture Foundation and the Kunsthaus Museum in Dresden.

Jessica’s commissioned print and video projects include a music video for Moby and documentary work for Doctors Without Borders/Medecins Sans Frontieres, and HBO. Her work has also been published in Aperture, The New York Times Magazine, The Times of London Magazine, Rolling Stone, Fortune, Newsweek, Time, New York Magazine, The British Journal of Photography, and Photoicon

In addition, Jessica is the cinematographer and co-producer of the award winning film Without, released in 2010.

Jessica is currently based in Brooklyn.
